Accompanied by the Mahler Chamber Orchestra under the baton of Fabien Gabel, the evening is rounded out with the neoclassical refinement of Stravinsky’s Pulcinella Suite, a selection from Mozart’s Idomeneo, and the pure lyricism of Chopin’s Piano Concerto No. 1—a program that blends avant-garde, elegance and virtuosity in its purest form.
