World Press Photo 2026
International Photojournalism Exhibition
to
Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona (CCCB) Carrer de Montalegre 5, 08001 Barcelona
World Press Photo is the best-known photojournalism exhibition worldwide, bringing together all the winners of the World Press Photo photography and Digital Narrative competitions. Chosen for their exceptional visual quality, the exhibition presents all the prize-winning photographs and multimedia pieces which offer different perspectives on global current affairs—the majority of which are unpublished in Spain.
World Press Photo 2026 will include winning authors from the six territories into which the competition divides its global participation: Africa, Asia-Pacific and Oceania, Europe, North America and Central America, South America and Western, South and Central Asia. For each of the territories there are three categories: Singles (individual photographs), Stories (graphic reports) and Long-Term Projects.
The Barcelona experience goes beyond the mere observation of the winning works; they are complemented with a carefully chosen program of parallel activities open to the public, designed to generate debate and to examine in greater depth the themes of the winning projects.
