National Geographic presents Women. A Century of Change at the Reial Cercle Artístic de Barcelona, featuring photos of the past, present and future of the women in the world.

Photo by photo, the selected images number nearly fifty in all and offer a global chronicle of women’s lives. Six sections focus the spectator’s attention on a quality of the protagonists in the images: joy, beauty, love, wisdom, strength and hope. The selection features photo stories as well as portraits of women who have played an important part in recent history.
