"Wicked" at Sala Montjuïc

Elphaba is a young girl who is misunderstood because of her unusual green colour. She has still to discover her magic powers. Glinda is a popular, privileged young woman who has not yet found her true passion. The two meet as students at Shiz University in the magical Land of Oz, forming an unusual but deep and sincere friendship. Film will be screened in English with Spanish subtitles.

The evening opens at 20:45 with live music from Punch Trío feat. Adrian Cunningham. Punch Trío is the answer to the questions: What if Django Reinhardt had not died in 1953 at the age of 43? And what if he had been captivated by the melodies and spirit of hard-bop, which was just emerging at the time? In the search for the answers to these questions, Punch Trío has found an outstanding ally: Adrian Cunningham, who appears on flute, sax and clarinet. 

A film in the 2025 edition of Sala Montjuïc. Doors open at 20:15, music begins at 20:45 and screenings begin at 22:00.
