Wallay! is the presence, voice and story of the African film industry. Created in 2018, it is a journey into the diversity and creativity of the African continent, narrated through its cinematographic language and its cultural expressions.
In addition to enjoying the best African cinematography, Wallay! organizes round-tables, workshops, debates and many other activities parallel to the screenings in order to present us with strikingly original independent films which would otherwise not reach Catalunya.
Films are usually shown in original language with subtitles. Films will be shown at Filmoteca de Catalunya, check the festival website for details.
