Among the few musicians Miles Davis singled out as leading followers of his unique style is the trumpeter Wallace Roney. On the tribute tour to the “Prince of Darkness”, he was chosen to accompany the historic line-up consisting of Herbie Hancock, Wayne Shorter, Ron Carter and Tony Williams. When it came to making his own career, Roney had the far-from-easy challenge of asserting himself in the shadow of a genius, and he has done so thanks to his strong personality and a restless nature. This is a unique opportunity to hear him up close.
