Nabucco was Verdi’s third opera and the first great success that catapulted him into the genre. Set in Babylon, Nabucco is an epic opera that tells the story of the rivalry between the Babylonian king Nebuchadnezzar, who oppresses the Jewish people, and his adopted daughter, Abigaille.

A work that explores timeless themes such as power, redemption and freedom, featuring powerful characters and emotions masterfully conveyed through majestic music. 

The famous “Va, pensiero” in the modernist hall is one of the sublime moments of the season!
