In the Bolivian highlands, an elderly Quechua couple has lived the same routine for years. When an unusually long drought threatens their entire way of life, Virginio and Sisa are faced with the dilemma of resisting or being defeated by the passage of time. With the arrival of their grandson Clever, the three will face, each in their own way, the environment, the need for change and the meaning of life itself.
Film will be screened in Quechua and Spanish with subtitled in Catalan.
Evening includes online dialogue with Alejandro Loayza Grisi, director of the film, in collaboration with Casa Amèrica Catalunya.
