In their social housing apartment on the outskirts of Paris, Nicole, 52, and her son, Serge, 19, live a fusional love that blossoms despite the adversities of their daily lives. Nicole is unemployed, unable to find work, her credit card debt is skyrocketing and she is suddenly forced to hand over her checkbook and card to the bank just days before Christmas. The relationship and life of mother and son take a turn. When she hits rock bottom, Nicole glimpses a ray of hope when she approaches the enigmatic Norah, who runs a café on the ground floor of her building... Sometimes, you find meaning in life just a stone's throw from your home. Sometimes, you have to search for and build happiness. Nicole goes through the hardest period of her life, a moment that changes her forever, as a mother and as a woman.
Film will be screened in original version with subtitles in Spanish and Catalan.
