Online Event Barcelona

Egypt decided to make some of their historical marvels available online during a period in which no one can travel ensure everyone's health — including the Tomb of Queen Meresankh III.
The virtual tour of the Tomb of Queen Meresankh III shows the final resting place of the queen and granddaughter of the pharaoh Khufu, who most likely authorized the production of the Great Pyramid of Giza. It is believed that her husband was Khafre or Menkaure, who were reponsable for building the other Pyramids of Giza.
Explore the ancient Egyptian queen's tomb through a 3D virtual tour, complete with explanations of the hieroglyphics on the walls. The online visit includes details about the ancient "opening of the mouth” ceremony. You will also see carved and painted scenes of the queen, the royal family, servants, artisans, and funerary priests.
Enjoy the stunning details as you "walk" through the tomb. You will notice that the navigation is similar to the navigation on Google Street View, which makes it easy to explore all the corners of the archaeological site.
