"Tió" Festival in Mura
Festa del Tió de Mura
to
Mura 08278 Mura

Throughout the holiday season, the town of Mura is transformed into a Christmas paradise where young and old can enjoy a unique experience that combines tradition, creativity and community spirit.
The Festa del Tió is a celebration that involves the entire population of the small mountain town of Mura. Neighbors and merchants decorate the streets with more than 60 tions (pooping logs) that appear in the streets, windows, balconies and roofs, imitating various trades and activities.
Visitors can participate in the tió game, following a map with clues and tests that go through the various spaces of the tions on display, and vote in the election for the best tió of the year. It's a unique opportunity to stroll through this medieval village and share moments with friends and family. The festival also includes a Christmas market on weekends with craft products and local food, contributing to the revitalization of the local commercial fabric, which is fundamental for the community.
Since it's a small village, visitors are encouraged to use the Bus Parc from Matadepera to facilitate access. For those who decide to arrive by their own vehicle, a parking lot has been set up on the outskirts with a special train that will transport visitors to the town center.
