Founded in 1989 by Fabio Biondi, Europa Galante was created to give an authentically Italian voice to Baroque and Classical music, fields that had until then been dominated by Northern European performers. With its debut dedicated to Vivaldi, the ensemble achieved immediate international success, becoming a global reference thanks to its combination of stylistic rigor and interpretative vitality.
With a discography awarded prizes such as the Diapason d’Or and three Grammy nominations, the ensemble is a regular guest at the world’s leading concert halls. Beyond rediscovering forgotten treasures of the 18th century, they have extended their historically informed practice to 19th-century bel canto (Bellini, Donizetti and Verdi).
In 2026, under Biondi’s vision, Europa Galante continues to lead the early music scene with a residency at Teatro Due in Parma and a major tour across Asia, Dubai and South America.
Tina Gorina is an internationally acclaimed soprano from Sant Feliu de Guíxols, she has been awarded the Honor Prize in Singing from the Liceu Conservatory and has won competitions such as Francesc Viñas, Jaume Aragall and Julián Gayarre. Trained at the Arena di Verona and Palau de les Arts with Alberto Zedda, she has closely collaborated with Josep Carreras and Jaume Aragall on tours across Europe and the United Arab Emirates.
Highlights include her debut as Violetta (La Traviata), directed by Sofia Coppola, and her leading role in the opera Halkawith Fabio Biondi, a recording nominated for the 2019 Opera Awards. A regular performer at Barcelona’s Gran Teatre del Liceu and the Opera of Catalunya, her repertoire includes leading roles in Madama Butterfly, Turandot and Carmen (2025), as well as major symphonic works in the country’s main concert halls.
