This summer, the Filmoteca de Catalunya is hosting a Tim Burton retrospective showing classics such as Beetlejuice, Batman, Edward Scissorhands and Mars Attacks! alongside some of the films that have inspired him.

Drawing inspiration from pop culture, Burton has reinvented Hollywood film-making, creating his own bizarre world where anything can happen. Take some time out this summer to enter his world of monsters and all things strange.
