The Ivorian reggae singer exposes social injustice, such as discrimination and poverty in Africa, through music. He is very critical with the fake promises of the politicians and his lyrics encourage the union of all Africans to end the heritage of colonialism and will discuss such topics in Cruïlla Talks 2019.
Tiken Jah Fakoly will not be alone: he will be accompanied by Òscar Camps, founder of the NGO "Proactiva Open Arms". Camps has first-hand knowledge of the reality of migrants, especially those drifting in the Mediterranean. This is what the "Open Arms" ship aims to stop by rescuing lives in the ocean and bringing humanitarian aid to land.
