Puppet creator and sculptor André Mello and musician Jim Pinchen join choreographer Thomas Noone in a new creation for young audiences. The performance has a small, cozy format and tells a story about the importance of self-acceptance and the value of differences, with characters including the protagonist Giraffe, the Lion, the Turtle, the Elephant, and the Snake. When all these animals meet at the dance party, Giraffe realizes that she doesn’t dance like the others.

Choreographer Thomas Noone founded his company in 2001. He has created nearly forty works and serves as a dance advisor at the Sant Andreu Teatre – saT!, where his company is in residence. In addition to teaching workshops, he accepts commissions for other companies. In 2011 he received the Ciutat de Barcelona award in the dance category. At Grec, he has premiered works such as Makthub (2003) and the duet Four (2007), and co-starred in Chuck & Bruce (2012 Grec). In the 2022 edition of the Grec Festival he presented the family show La gata que volia canviar la història, a co-production with the festival that continues touring nationally and internationally, with over eighty performances.

Event will be held in Catalan and Spanish.
