Thelma Dickinson, a housewife with an empty and monotonous life, is married to a detestable jerk who treats her like a child. Meanwhile, Louise Sawyer works as a waitress in a coffee shop and dreams of her boyfriend Jimmy, marrying her. One weekend, they decide to take a road trip together in Louise’s car to escape the monotonous routine of their lives and all their frustrations. A fun and fresh road movie, starring the iconic Susan Sarandon and Geena Davis.
Film will be screened in its original version with Spanish subtitles.
The evening begins at 20:45 with live music from the Pierre Arnaud Quartet. Singer-songwriter Pierre Arnaud is a multifaceted French artist. Inspired by the worlds of Georges Brassens, Serge Gainsbourg, Charles Aznavour and Django Reinhardt, he presents a repertoire of songs that blend satire and humor, love and heartbreak, all underpinned by modern and melodious harmonies.
