The Waterboys are coming to Spain to present their latest album, Life, Death and Dennis Hopper. The album is centered on the American actor of the same name and, through his story, it captures the last seven decades of Western pop culture. Recorded at the legendary Sun Records studios in Memphis, it marks the band’s sixteenth LP and features top-tier collaborations, including Bruce Springsteen, Steve Earle and Fiona Apple. Scottish frontman Mike Scott and his band remain one of the leading forces in classic rock. Their live performances are nothing short of spectacular.

The band’s current lineup includes keyboardists Brother Paul from Memphis and James Hallawell from Cornwall, along with a powerhouse Irish rhythm section featuring bassist Aongus Ralston and drummer Eamon Ferris. Together, they have masterfully reimagined the band’s music across all its eras—from the roots-inspired sound of Fisherman’s Blues to the seamless fusion of genres (soul, funk, country-rock…) found in their albums since Modern Blues (2015). On stage, expect drama, improvisation, musical fireworks, and, of course, a powerful set of classic hits. They will leave you spellbound.
