La Machine à écrire et autres sources de tracas (The Typewriter and Other Headaches) is last film in a three part series begun by Nicolas Philibert which started with Sur l’Adamant and was followed by Averroès & Rosa Parks. Continuing his immersion in the Parisian psychiatric environment, the filmmaker accompanies a maintenance brigade that improvises solutions in the homes of people with psychiatric conditions, who are helpless in the face of domestic problems, such as a broken appliance. In the dialogue that is established between these people, a respectful view of mental health and its care can be seen.

Film will be screened in original version with subtitles in Catalan.
