“You. Only better in every way.” This is the claim for a revolutionary product based on cell division that creates a younger, more beautiful, more perfect alter ego. Tempted by this promise, Elisabeth Sparkle, a fading celebrity, takes the black market drug and creates a rejuvenated version of herself, Sue. The effects are both unexpected and terrifying. Film will be screened in English with Spanish subtitles.

The evening opens at 20:45 with live music from Bossa Nova Revisited – Feat. Ramiro Pinheiro & Ana Rossi. Joy and sadness. Optimism and disillusion. All at the same time. The contradictions of the Brazilian soul are laid bare in a repertoire that fuses the peculiar bittersweet taste that is a constant in the samba tradition with the pristine beats of bossa nova.

A film in the 2025 edition of Sala Montjuïc. Doors open at 20:15, music begins at 20:45 and screenings begin at 22:00.
