The Nequa Valley High School Choir presents a special and free concert in the Basilica of Santa Maria del Pi (Cardenal Casañas 16; Metro–Liceu).
The choir, made up of 80 young singers aged between 14 and 18 years, is considered one of the best ensembles of its kind in the United States. It received the first prize of Grammy Gold Signature School in 2000, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2009 and 2011.
The NVHS choir has performed at the Carnegie Hall in New York, as well as other prestigious institutions in Germany, Austria, Poland, the Czech Republic and Ireland.
