Formed in 1984 in England, The Cult have become one of the most influential rock bands of all time, selling millions of records and earning numerous gold and platinum certifications. Fronted by Ian Astbury (vocals) and Billy Duffy (guitar), they have released 11 studio albums, most notably Love (1985), featuring iconic songs such as “She Sells Sanctuary” and “Rain,” and Electric (1989), which cemented their sound with hits such as “Love Removal Machine” and “Wild Flower.” In 2023, Astbury and Duffy reunited Death Cult for a series of live concerts, including dates in the United Kingdom, and in 2024 they remain active with vinyl reissues of their most acclaimed records and appearances such as on The Howard Stern Show. Now, The Cult returns to Barcelona in 2025 as part of their world tour. The band is set to bring their signature sound and electrifying energy to the city once again, delivering a high-voltage performance packed with their greatest hits.
