Canadian group The Commoners are returning to Spain with two spring dates as part of their international Runnin' Blind Tour. Chris Medhurst's distinctive voice, full of emotion and personality, is the cornerstone of this solid project, which also features Ben Spiller, Ross Hayes Citrullo, Adam Cannon, and Miles Evans-Branagh, all musicians with extensive experience in the Canadian music scene.
With a classic, traditional sound reminiscent of Southern rock, they have established themselves within the roots rock scene. They complete their musical identity with a distinct soul touch and a rhythmic approach influenced by the Motown school. Live, this combination translates into a dynamic show, with a powerful instrumental selection and meticulously crafted vocals.
The band returns to Spain after their last visit, when they performed as guests of The Sheepdogs on their European tour, a leg of their tour that also included a single headlining concert in Vizcaya. In 2026, they return in a very different context: now headlining their own world tour, with a live show that combines new material with the most representative songs from their career.
With influences ranging from The Black Crowes and Led Zeppelin to Derek Trucks, Marcus King, and The Allman Brothers, the band blends rock, soul, and American roots music with a distinctive style they have honed over time. With a powerful stage presence, a polished sound, and unwavering commitment to rock's roots, The Commoners have become a must-see for anyone seeking authentic, high-energy live performances.
