Despite the pandemic, the festival organizers have done their best to maintain its essence, offering a program of 29 concerts over 18 days and at 14 different venues. 

Their commitment to stylistic variety and to capturing the pulse of contemporary trends in jazz, encouraging an international presence, and supporting Catalan jazz is one of the secrets of their longevity.  At this year’s 49th edition here will be 5 album presentations, 21 international musicians debuting at the festival, 3 project premieres and 3 productions sponsored by the festival itself.

The Nova Jazz Cava remains the epicenter of activity, as well as club concerts and outdoor vermut-hour concerts. The Teatre Principal, a new venue this year, consolidates the festival’s projection in the region with the confirmed participation of towns such as Matadepera and Vacarisses.
