TEDxBarcelona: The Dignified Death
to
Mazda Space Carrer de Comerç 60, 08003 Barcelona

TEDxBarcelona hosts Marcos Hourmann at their September event, which aims to open the dialogue about the freedom of choosing how you want to die with an intriguing discussion. Hourmann was convicted of practising euthanasia in 2005 on a terminally-ill patient in Spain. The conviction was reported nationwide across the media, and stirred a heated debate on the topic. Now, the conversation on legalising euthanasia has entered into the parliaments of Spain and Catalunya sparking further reflection.
The event features a 15-minute TED talk by Hourmann, followed by a question and answer session. Guests will then have the opportunity to network and reflect upon the discussion, alongside drinks and tapas included in the ticket price.
Tickets are priced €3. More information here.
