Tarta Relena was born as a musical project in 2016. It's the union of the voices and talents of two performers who wanted to explore the various styles of vocal music a cappella. They arrange melodies from various countries in the Mediterranean area in their original language, always looking for the maximum expressiveness with the minimum possible elements.

A couple of years ago Marta Torrella and Helena Ros gained a growing audience with the first two recordings they released. Their repertoire is based on music of oral tradition and original songs related in some way to the Mediterranean. Their unique and absolutely personal folk intertwines electronic rhythms and sounds with the voices of the artists.
