Tarta Relena is celebrating an anniversary: Marta Torroella and Helena Ros mark 10 years of their career. With a highly distinctive style, the Barcelona-based duo explores the limits of their voices, delving into the Catalan traditional songbook with contemporary arrangements that touch on styles such as electronic music and polyphony. A blend of textures that transports us to a mystical sonic universe.
The project explores vocal music from oral traditions ranging from Greece to the Balkans, passing through the Iberian Peninsula. A repertoire that embraces experimentation and leaves behind any fear of breaking boundaries. They now arrive at Porta Ferrada Occident with their artistic identity to present És pregunta, an album that flirts with notions of tragic thought through characters facing unstoppable or unknown consequences.

Note: The Porta Ferrada Festival takes place across different venues in Sant Feliu de Guíxols, all well connected and easily accessible; we recommend checking the exact location of each venue and planning your arrival in advance.
