The COVID-19 pandemic has brought unusual postcards of Barcelona such as the one of a slowed-down Plaça Reial where it is easier to grasp the beauty of its surroundings: the intrinsic elegance of its fountain, the street lamps and palm trees that make it unique.
The Plaça Reial Merchants Association has prepared a gastronomic itinerary through some of its most emblematic places that will take visitors on a journey through its history.
The square's restaurateurs have authored tapas inspired by people and events linked to the history of the plaza. Participants of this itinerary can enjoy combining one tapa and drink for €4.
Simultaneously, Plaça Reial will post on its Instagram account interviews with personalities closely related to the site, such as the writer and journalist Miqui Otero, the jewelry designer La Manso and the producer, DJ and presenter Miqui Puig.
The venues participating in De Tapes per la Plaça Reial are: Ocaña, Tobogán restaurant, Glaciar bar, Canarias brewery, Artisà cafeteria, Rossini restaurant and Sidecar concert hall and bar.
