Jardins del Palau de Pedralbes Avinguda Diagonal 686, 08034 Barcelona
Newcastle-born composer, singer-songwriter, actor, and activist, Sting is one of the most influential voices in contemporary music. His international career began in 1977 when he formed The Police with Stewart Copeland and Andy Summers. The band released five landmark albums, won six Grammy Awards, two Brit Awards, and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2003.
As a solo artist, Sting has received eleven additional Grammy Awards, a Golden Globe, an Emmy, four Oscar nominations, and accolades such as the Polar Music Prize and the Kennedy Center Honors. Throughout his career, he has sold over 100 million records.
Currently, Sting is touring with his groundbreaking STING 3.0 World Tour, a powerful trio format featuring guitarist Dominic Miller and drummer Chris Maas. The tour revisits his greatest hits and lesser-known gems and has inspired his new single, “I Wrote Your Name (Upon My Heart).” His career also includes more than fifteen films and the Tony Award-nominated musical, The Last Ship.
Committed to social justice and the environment, Sting founded the Rainforest Fund with Trudie Styler, an organization active in more than 20 countries dedicated to protecting rainforests and indigenous peoples.
