At the height of his most successful solo tour, Steve Hackett announces his new project for 2023: Genesis Revisited - Foxtrot at Fifty + Hackett Highlights. This tour celebrates the 50th anniversary of Foxtrot, a legendary Genesis album that placed the band at the forefront of the British rock scene.

The guitarist joined Genesis in 1971 debuting on the third album, Nursery Cryme. After an extensive tour, the reaction of the audience encouraged the band to continue experimenting with increasingly lengthy compositions, encouraging them to develop their ability to incorporate their own narratives. This, in turn, gave its leader Peter Gabriel the opportunity to deploy a whole concept of a whole concept of theatrics that would create a unique band identity.

In his own words, "I think Foxtrot was a terrific achievement for Genesis at that time. I think there is not one weak track on the album, they all have their strong points and I'm really looking forward to doing the whole album live."
