Spring Fair in Sant Feliu de Llobregat

It's springtime in the city of roses! For three days Sant Feliu de Llobregat will be decked out to host the Festes de Primavera (Spring Festival), an event that combines tradition and modernity, putting two of the city's most iconic activities at the center: the National Exhibition of Roses and the Baix Llobregat Commercial and Industrial Fair. With a diverse cultural and leisure program, the festivities are a must-see for the whole family.

The National Rose Exhibition takes over the Palau Falguera, where you can see and smell more than 10,000 roses (including greenhouse roses, garden roses and rose bushes in bloom) of more than 250 different varieties. As usual, there are roses from different parts of Catalonia, Spain, Europe and the rest of the world. You'll also find a variety of ikebana ornamental flowers and bonsai. The agenda is packed with activities focusing on cultural heritage, including traditional Catalan dances, a flamenco festival, trobada de puntaires (a lace makers gathering), childrens' games, and a gastronomic area to sample local goods, to name but a few.

Alongside it, the 46th Commercial and Industrial Fair with the new Espai Innova (technology and creativity hub at Can Bertrand) offers live music at Butifarra Sound, and exhibitions focused on innovation and economic development, and the Casal de Joves becomes the epicenter of the Employment and Training Fair, hosting an exhibition of video game and arcade machines from the 1980s and 1990s.
