Originally from Naucalpan, Mexico, Son Rompe Pera has revolutionized the music scene with their unmistakable fusion of cumbia, garage, punk, and traditional Latin American music. Led by the Gama brothers, the band takes the marimba to new heights, combining their vibrant sound with a rebellious attitude and explosive energy on stage.

Raised in a family of marimba players, the Gamas began their career playing traditional music alongside their father on the streets; however, over time, they developed their own unique style that breaks labels and transcends borders. Their album Batuco (2020) established them as one of the most innovative artists in Latin music, taking them to festivals and stages around the world. With their latest release, Chimborazo (2023), they continue that trajectory, unleashing an unstoppable vibe that invites you to dance.
