Between them these grandfathers of heavy metal have released 23 studio albums, generated numerous law suits and received several lifetimes worth of criticism. It's good to have them back.

One can only imagine what will happen when Megadeth and Slayer perform live on the same night. In what is set to be a masterclass in heavy metal, long hair and decibel defying guitar solos, it may take weeks to come down from your hard rock adrenaline high but that's only if you survive the mosh pit.

Time may have aged these old school rockers and even seen Megadeth front man Dave Mustaine become a born again Christian but you'd be foolish to take this European Carnage Tour lightly.
