The "Blessing of the Palms" on Palm Sunday kicks off the various religious and cultural celebrations scheduled for Holy Week in Sitges. Palm Sunday to Easter Monday, Sitges hosts multiple liturgical and cultural celebrations, processions, exhibitions and more.

One of the highlights of the program is held on Good Friday with the traditional Setmana Santa procession, which winds through the streets of Sitges in memory of the last moments of the life of Jesus. The singing of Caramelles, both on Holy Saturday night and on Easter Monday, is also one of the main attractions of the Holy Week celebrations.
