Bach, a constant presence in Schaghajegh Nosrati's performances at the Palau de la Música, once again takes center stage as she opens the program with one of his Overtures. However, beyond being a renowned interpreter of Bach, the German pianist is also a remarkably versatile artist—a quality she showcases by completing the program with works by Bartók, Haydn and the 19th-century French virtuoso pianist and composer Charles-Valentin Alkan.
