Sarah Dowling is considered one of the most talented jazz singers in Europe and, of course, in her country as the winner of the Best Vocalist at the British Jazz Awards in 2019. With roots in Palestine and Ireland, Dowling trained in Manchester as a cellist before discovering her calling as a singer and songwriter. 

With an expressive and magnetic voice, her style includes influences from Betty Carter, Sarah Vaughan and Anita O'Day, but with an evident personality of her own. She has recorded albums praised by the most demanding critics and has worked with pianists of the stature of Gabriel Latchin and Bruce Barth. At Jamboree, she will sing alongside one of the greats of jazz piano, Ignasi Terraza.

He is one of the national jazz players with the most international projection. Influenced by Oscar Peterson and Ahmad Jamal, Terraza has his own style, virtuoso, rhythmic, sensitive and expressive. As a sideman and soloist, he has squared off with some of the biggest names in jazz history—Johnny Griffin, Frank Wess, Lou Donaldson to name a few. Sarah Dowling and Ignasi Terraza Trio—completed by the excellent Esteve Pi and Dario Di Lecce—star in a first-class meeting in the basement of Plaza Reial.
