Founded in 2000 by Steinway Artists Carles Lama and Sofia Cabruja, the Sant Pere de Rodes Music Festival is one of the most charming music festivals on the Costa Brava. Since its origins, it has been dedicated to piano and chamber music and has seen important national and international artists parade. Over the years, it has become an unmissable event at summer music festivals, with a loyal audience that always leaves amazed by the unparalleled communion between the beauty of the monument and the quality of the artistic proposals presented there. ​

Over the years, the Festival has developed the sensitivity and need to accommodate new composers, both with the commission of original works, and with adaptations or transcriptions for various formations, and which have been premiered in the concerts.
