Enjoy a relaxing evening of outdoor concerts in the Patio de Armas in the Castell de Montjuc!
Because there are so many local festivals and open-air activities in August, small music venues struggle to attract the public to their spaces—most of them even close for the month.
To support these small, live music spaces, the Associació de Sales de Concerts de Catalunya and the Institut de Cultura de Barcelona created the Sala Barcelona concert cycle, turning the large terrace of the Castell de Montjuïc into one of the best live music scenes in the city!
The concert cycle kicks off on August 1st and will take place nearly every weekend in August and the first two weeks of September. The open-air concerts offer a mix of seating and standing options, so whether you want to relax at tables and chairs or dance the night away, both options will be available to you.
This concert series not only offers a unique musical experience but also provides essential support to the local music venues that form the backbone of Barcelona's vibrant cultural landscape.
