Founded in 1994, Symphony X is an American progressive metal band from Middletown, New Jersey. Pushing the boundaries of musical convention, their aggressive vocals and guitar sequences are often intertwined with unexpected tributes to great artists like Ludwig van Beethoven and poet John Milton. Known for their neo-classical melodies and experimentation with different genres, Symphony X’s concert at Sala Apolo on February 25th is one worth attending for anyone who appreciates innovative thinking.
