La Folie’s sound covers a number of musical genres, ranging from soul and funk to pop and reggae. The group is made up of Paula Giberga (singer-songwriter), Andreu Roig (guitarist and composer), Gerard Cassola (bass guitarist), Ferran Badal (flautist and saxophonist) and Bernat Fisas (drummer). Following their first-prize award at Tarragona’s Track Vendrell ceremony in 2015, La Folie have released their first album, Traficants de Somnis (2016), which aims to distance itself from stereotypes, and explore day-to-day personal feelings and experiences to connect with their listeners.
