Silvia Pérez Cruz and Salvador Sobral come together to present their new project at the Palau de la Música as a part of the GuitarBCN festival. With brand-new songs, their new album reflects their desire to take their friendship to a new level by sharing the stage and the recording studio.
Silvia Pérez Cruz needs little introduction. With a rich artistic background, the Palafrugell-born singer is a familiar face on the city’s main stages, known for her deeply emotional performances and a career full of captivating, heartfelt projects. Portuguese artist Salvador Sobral rose to international fame in 2017 after winning the Eurovision Song Contest with the beautiful song "Amar pelos dois," written by his sister Luísa. Since then, he has built an impressive musical career, releasing five albums to date.
This new project is also a celebration of shared inspirations and artistic friendships. Composers close to Silvia and Salvador will contribute original songs to the album. Among them are Jorge Drexler, Luísa Sobral, and Lau Noah, who will all offer new works specially written for the project.
