New York–based pianist Russ Lossing, a creative force who has energized the international jazz scene for more than thirty-five years, brings his Mood Trio to Jamboree, marking a new evolution in his artistic journey. Known for his twelve-year collaboration with legendary drummer Paul Motian, Lossing has performed at the Village Vanguard and released twenty-six albums as a leader, in addition to composing more than four hundred original works.

He is joined by bassist Masa Kamaguchi, his musical partner of thirty years with a distinctive and imaginative voice, and drummer Dayeon Seok, a remarkable Korean artist with a unique personal sound. Together, the trio blends experience, technical mastery and fresh perspectives, exploring new territory within the piano trio format. Their music unfolds as a dynamic dialogue that merges tradition with inventive improvisation.
