This year, the focus for the 6th edition of the fair will be the eco-social transition of responsible consumption as a means of tackling the health, socio-economic and climate crises.
This year's fair will be smaller, with controlled access and 30% capacity due to the situation caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, and it will focus on the showcasing and sale of products. There will be 32 stalls, where you will find products that promote and enable the practice of responsible and local consumption, along with explanations of specific consumption practices and everyday healthy habits in people's lives. The fair aims to raise awareness of the principles and practices of responsible consumption, which take on even greater importance this year: proximity, caring for people, good living, agro-ecological food, fair trade, waste prevention and democratic management.
Some forty social and solidarity economy organizations and companies will be taking part, offering a wide range of crafts, clothing and other textile accessories, culture, books, packaged food, toys, cosmetics, well-being and other small gift products.
The fair will be held in the outer ring of Plaça de Catalunya December 18-30. Opening hours are from 11:00 to 20:30, The fair it will be closed on Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
