PsyCurious: How the Female Hormonal Cycle Shapes Women’s Mood & Well-Being
PsyCurious event series: How the female hormonal cycle shapes women's mood and well-being. Zsofia Nyul
Fancy joining an exciting, eye-opening, interactive discussion on cycle awareness and psychology at a wonderful rooftop studio in the heart of Barcelona?
Our moods and energy don’t exist in isolation—they’re deeply connected to what’s happening in our bodies. Yet the female hormonal cycle is still often overlooked in conversations about mental health.
In this PsyCurious evening—part of the It’s Complicated community series—host and psychologist Zsofia Nyul is joined by psychologist and women’s hormonal cycle specialist Julie Haas to explore how hormonal shifts across the four phases of the cycle shape mood, energy, and emotional well-being.
We’ll chat about the differences between PMS, PME, and PMDD, and look at how cycle awareness can become a powerful tool for self-understanding and more compassionate mental health support. Julie will share both research insights and practical tools from her holistic, CBT-based approach.
