In an explosive celebration of all kinds of love, one of the most popular and diverse Pride celebrations in Europe returns to Barcelona. Every summer since 2008, more than 250,000 people have taken to the streets. With a wide variety of activities, this huge celebration promotes self-affirmation, dignity, equal rights, sexual diversity and gender variance in the LGBTIQ+ community. There will be a multitude of activities including workshops and a recreation area, as well as a high heel race, drag race, parties, live music and the iconic Pride Parade.
The theme for 2026 will soon be announced. Last year's edition celebrated the the universal culture of the LGTBIQ+ community. LGBTIQ+ culture is full of voices that were silenced, persecuted, and too often killed by the hetero-normative and patriarchal system. Through art, dance, theater, music, and the spoken word, society builds spaces to express oneself freely, to make diverse realities visible, and to challenge the norms that exclude us. Dissident culture has always been a driver of change and a collective refuge—a place to exist without censorship, imagine alternative futures, and proudly affirm our diverse identities.
