"Persepolis" Screening
to
Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya (MNAC) Palau Nacional, Parc de Montjüic, 08038 Barcelona

Within the programming that MNAC carries out in March to mark International Women's Day, The museum will screen this animated film in which Iranian cartoonist, painter and filmmaker Marjane Satrapi explains how she grew up under the fundamentalist regime, and how she ended up leaving her country.
Persepolis is a rare little gem, an agile, moving and universal tale that gives music a leading role, mixing comics with the appalling reality in the period from the Islamic revolution to the present day.
