The famous opera by Giuseppe Verdi comes to Palau de la Música this August. Based on the novel ‘The Lady of the Camellias’ by Alexandre Dumas set in Paris in the early 19th century, this great drama tells the tale of high-class prostitute Violetta and her tumultuous relationship with Alfredo. The opera is directed by Xavier Puig and Jesús Fernández with musical accompaniment by the Orchestra Terassa 48.
