Conecta con la Orquesta Simfònica is an event organised by Palau de la Música with the purpose of making symphonic music accessible to kids, whist allowing parents to sit back and enjoy the music. Throughout the evening, a number of workshops will take place combining symphonic music with hands on, fun, engaging activities.
The event kicks off with a discovery workshop—a musical workshop involving the participation of kids and adults (5.30-6.30pm). This will be followed by the first half of the performance, to be enjoyed by all the family (7-8pm). Next is the experimental workshop, where children will be helped and encouraged to get creative and make some music, whilst adults enjoy the second half of the performance (8-9pm). The pièce de résistance is the final performance of the night, starring none other than your little ones, when they will be given the chance to showcase what they have been working on in the workshops (9pm).
