Pacho Flores at L'Auditori

Admirers follow his concerts passionately across the globe, and now Pacho Flores will be performing two spectacular, virtuoso pieces: one by his compatriot Castro d’Addona and another by the Swede Lindberg, a maestro of brass instruments (he is himself an outstanding trombonist), with influences from jazz and popular music.
This concert aims to bring to light the historical heritage of the instrument with arrangements of great symphonic works, revising them and proudly opening their pages once again on music stands of L'Auditori.
Symphonic works include the intense and emotional “Death and Transfiguration,” which had such a profound effect on Richard Strauss when he wrote it in 1925.
