The widely celebrated British director and conductor Sir John Eliot Gardiner is known for his performances of the works of J.S. Bach. He has had a close relationship with the Palau de la Música Catalana for years, and is set to return to Barcelona this month to present Berlioz's oratorio "L'enfance du Christ," a work incredibly suitable for the run up to Christmas. The voices of two choirs of the institution, the Chamber Choir of the Palau and the Children's Choir of the Catalan Choral Society, will be joined on stage by the Monteverdi Choir and the Orchester Révolutionnaire et Romantique. These incredible forces of talent will come together for one night only to honor and perform "The Childhood of Christ" within the stunning walls of the Palau de la Música Catalana.
