La Fàbrica del Sucre, a former manufacturing complex in Poblenou which has been converted into 29 lofts
Architecture aficionados prepare for a busy weekend! Over 150 buildings of various different styles, shapes and sizes are to be opened to the public for Barcelona's annual architecture festival, 48H Open House BCN.
This year there is an emphasis upon buildings that have been renovated and transformed (the Fàbrica del Sucre in Poblenou, for example).
It'll be possible to take one of 10 pre-planned routes around the city or to just wander from place to place, stopping and entering those which take your fancy. The entire event is free of charge.
